Open Positions:

 

Pre-Camp Setup & Décor Intern

Play a crucial role in creating the magic of camp by assisting with setup and making decorations before summer begins! Tasks include painting, creating props and backgrounds, and organizing supplies to ensure a welcoming, fun, inspiring environment. This part-time, unpaid internship is ideal for individuals seeking experience in event preparation, summer camp work, or earning volunteer hour credits.

About You:  You’re creative, organized, love decorating, and thrive on bringing ideas to life. As a self-starter, you’re quick, motivated, and love organizing and beautifying spaces. You are willing to perform a wide variety of tasks—basically whatever is asked of you! From filing to organizing to creating, you are helpful, energetic, positive, and motivated.

 

  • Timeframe: Pre-camp (April – early June; specific dates flexible)
  • Pay: Unpaid (eligible for volunteer hour credits)
  • Age Requirements: 7th grade and up

 

Pre-Camp Art Project Intern

Assist in designing and preparing materials for campers’ hands-on art projects! Responsibilities include creating craft samples, organizing supplies, assembling activity kits, and brainstorming fun ideas. This part-time, unpaid internship offers valuable experience in the arts, event preparation, and project planning while contributing to an unforgettable summer.

About You:  You’re passionate about art and crafts—drawing, painting, clay, and DIY projects are your jam. You love contributing your ideas to crafts, art projects, activities, and prep traditions. You’re efficient, positive, eager to contribute, helpful, and ready to bring your creative ideas to the table.

 

  • Timeframe: Pre-camp (Now – early June; specific dates flexible)
  • Pay: Unpaid (eligible for volunteer hour credits)
  • Age Requirements: 7th grade and up

 

Summer Camp Intern

Support camp success by helping with everything from welcoming families to assisting the Camp Director and counselors during activities. This part-time, unpaid role is perfect for rising 7th, 8th, and 9th graders interested in exploring child engagement, camp operations, or earning volunteer credits.

About You:  You’re outgoing and enjoy working with both kids and adults. You don’t mind looking silly—you LOVE silly camp songs, goofy games, and participating in all the fun activities. A self-starter, you’re proactive in solving problems and love participating in arts, crafts, and games—whether it’s tag, scavenger hunts, or Boom Chika Boom! You are organized, helpful, and eager to help out wherever you are most needed. You take direction well.

 

  • Timeframe: Summer camp (June – August; flexible weeks available)
  • Pay: Unpaid (eligible for volunteer hour credits)
  • Age Requirements: Rising 7th, 8th, and 9th graders


Summer Camp Counselor

Counselors are the heart of the Art With Jenny experience. You’ll lead a group of campers throughout the week, facilitating hands-on art projects, outdoor games, and team-building activities. You will stay with the same group of kids for a week at a time, building connections and ensuring every camper has the BEST experience! This is a full-time, paid position with flexible weeks to fit your schedule.

About You:  Kids think you’re super fun, and you love making their days brighter. You embrace the silliness of camp—singing camp songs, leading games, and joining in on all the fun traditions. You’re a multitasker who handles questions and activities with ease. Reliable, creative, and outgoing, you’re the type of leader who inspires kids while also playing alongside them. Teachers love you because you are organized, kind, helpful, positive, and eager to please.

 

  • Timeframe: Summer camp (June – end of July; flexible weeks available)
  • Pay: Paid position ($20 – $28/hour, based on experience, fit, and availability)
  • Age Requirements: 16 years old and up


Camp Photographer

Capture the magic of Art With Jenny camps by documenting campers’ creative moments and outdoor fun. This part-time role can be unpaid (for experience and volunteer hour credits) or paid, depending on qualifications.

About You:  You have a passion for photography and an eye for candid moments. You’re reliable, creative, and enjoy being part of the camp environment. You’re tech-savvy, experienced in photo editing, and skilled at capturing the essence of camp. You have a positive, upbeat personality.

 

  • Timeframe: Summer camp (June – end of July; flexible weeks available)
  • Pay: Paid or unpaid, depending on experience
  • Age Requirements: High school and college-aged students


Camp Videographer

Help us tell the story of camp! As a videographer, you’ll film highlights, create short reels for parents, and document traditions. Experience with video editing is required. This is a part-time role and can be unpaid (for experience and volunteer credits) or paid, based on qualifications.

About You:  You’re creative, reliable, and skilled at capturing moments that tell a story. You’re experienced in video editing and passionate about videography. You have a positive, upbeat personality.

 

  • Timeframe: Summer camp (June – August; flexible weeks available)
  • Pay: Paid or unpaid, depending on experience
  • Age Requirements: High school and college-aged students
